10.15.420 – Vehicles prohibited on certain streets

  1. As prohibited by Section 15-316 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/15-316), it shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle in excess of 10,000 lbs. on any street in the City except state highways and county roads, and where such prohibitions are posted.
  2. As prohibited by Section 15-316 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5/15-316), it shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle in excess of 20,000 lbs. on the Red Gate Bridge.
